The current holders of the CONCACAF Gold Cup are feeling well nonetheless, having screamed on Guatemala Friday night in their final pre-tournament warmup. Hell, even Timmy Chandler scored. That should count for two!

Chandler, newly-minted skipper Michael Bradley, and New York City's Mix Diskerud join a host of determined Americans looking to repeat as Gold Cup champs and punch their ticket to 2017's FIFA Confederations Cup, the famous showdown among each continental titleholder.

The U.S. missed out on the previous Confed Cup thanks to pesky Mexico.
