Cast your vote for THE HUDDIES, Hudson River Blue’s year-end NYCFC awards!

Basically, we’re asking you to do some of our work for us.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

Was 2016 the year we deserved, or was it just being an asshole?

Luckily for New York City FC adherents, the nearly expired calendar year had lots to love: Patrick Vieira beat all reasonable expectations, Frank Lampard scored meaningful goals in meaningful games, Jack Harrison set the league ablaze, and the Boys in Blue finished with the fourth-best record in MLS and their first-ever ticket to the playoffs.

Suffice to say, then, that the 2016 edition of our end-of-year awards show — THE HUDDIES — stands to be far less snarky than last year’s.

In fact, we’re opening up our awards vote to you, the law-abiding taxpayer. All are encouraged to participate— you can even sound off in the comments section at the bottom of this page if we glaringly left something out, or if you have a clever idea for an award category. This is about you; we’d be happy to comply.
