The stage is set for NYCFC’s first real preseason test. (Sorry, Jacksonville University— you conceded nine goals the other night. That doesn’t qualify as a test, all due respect.)

The club has brought 25 players to Guayaquil, Ecuador for tonight’s showdown with los Eléctricos, CS Emelec. AAAaaand here they are!

[Pro trialists are in bold, unsigned draftees in italics, badass godlike academy kids IN ALL CAPS]

GK: Eirik Johansen, Sean Johnson, Andre Rawls

DEF: RJ Allen, Kwame Awuah, Frederic Brillant, Maxime Chanot, Alexander Callens, Michael DeGraffenreidt, Shannon Gomez, Ronald Matarrita, JAMES SANDS, Ben Sweat, Ethan White

MID: Jalen Brown, Miguel Camargo, Tommy McNamara, Andrea Pirlo, John Stertzer, Chris Wingate

FWD: Jack Harrison, Sean Okoli, Roberto Louima, Khiry Shelton, David Villa

Not a whole lot has changed since training camp broke in Jacksonville, Florida, but it’s worth noting that trialists Connor Brandt and Michael Farfan are not listed among the NYCFC ranks.

(Perhaps you have also noticed a lack of Mix Diskerud. Perhaps you have not. Whatever. It’s your world. We don’t tell you what to do.)

Tonight’s match will be streamed live on NYCFC.com, as well as the club’s YouTube site. We’ll be conducting a live video preview on our Facebook page in the half-hour leading up to the scheduled 8pm ET kickoff— pay us a visit, won’t you?
