David Villa named to MLS Team of the Week

Maxi Moralez makes the “bench” after Sunday’s 4-0 smasher

In three NYCFC home openers to date, David Villa has five goals. In those games, the good guys have taken seven of a possible nine points, outscoring its opponents 8-2.

On the strength of his command performance, Villa appears yet again on the MLS Team of the Week. Joining him is Maxi Moralez, whose Yankee Stadium debut had him opening his account and commanding just about any space he wanted.
