Miguel Camargo was having a bit of a rough go at it this year. He’d put together some rather anonymous bench appearances. His single start against Real Salt Lake was downright confounding. But just two minutes after trotting on for Tommy McNamara Wednesday night against New England, the Panama international found himself in the right place at the right time:
The timely nod would give our fair New York City FC a 2-1 lead that would be given away in the dying minutes. But to see Camargo jump onto the scoresheet for the first time is an encouraging sign indeed.
