Reports out of Venezuela link 18 year old Deportio Táchira center back Nahuel Ferraresi to a loan move to Uruguayan side Club Atlético Torque, which was recently acquired by City Football Group.
And it sounds like they’re due to sell him to New York City FC in time for next year.

According to Transfermarkt, which gives the player a market value of just over $400,000, the Torque deal is already done. And while he won’t be able to bolster Patrick Vieira’s defensive ranks here in the Five Boroughs this year no matter what else happens, Ferraresi is a bright young player with some real highlights under his belt despite his tender age.
Cut to two months ago, when his and Yangel Herrera’s Venezuela side took on the United States at the U20 World Cup:
Standing just over 6’2” and with the ability to cover at right back, Ferraresi will have every chance to feature for New York City next year if a deal indeed gets done. Frederic Brillant’s status with team beyond the expiry of his contract in December is very much in doubt given his high wages, difficulty man-marking, and inability to age backwards, and NYCFC’s overall depth along the back line has been tested so much this year that Mikey Lopez is suddenly a fullback.
This youngin could be the perfect athlete to complement a unit that has been forced to do more with less in 2017.
Vieira was impressed with him after the U20 WC and wants him to be in-and-around the first team when he arrives as an NYCFC player.
