Ismael Tajouri-Shradi ruled out against FC Dallas

The Libyan star will miss at least one more game

After receiving a hamstring injury in New York City FC’s 2-2 draw against Atlanta United, star forward Ismael Tajouri-Shradi was forced to miss the Boys in Blue’s contest against the Portland Timbers at Providence Park, which ended in an embarrassing 3-0 rout. To say the least, the Libyan’s creativity and eye for goal was greatly missed in the trip to Cascadia.

Unfortunately, NYCFC will have to make due without ITS for at least one more week. The team announced today in their weekly injury report that Tajouri-Shradi has been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup against FC Dallas in the Bronx.

Dallas remains unbeaten this season, and going in without Tajouri-Shradi can definitely hurt when it comes to City’s attacking prowess. But NYCFC can definitely make do should stars David Villa and Jesus Medina return to good form.

Here’s hoping Shradi Doddy can return ahead of the first Hudson River Derby of 2018 against the New York Red Bulls next week.
