This will be Villa’s fourth appearance in as many years with the all-star side, and is Ring’s first-ever selection. Ring is the fourth different player to represent NYCFC in an all-star game and is also to the first non-DP City player to be selected as well.
Both Villa and Ring are bona fide stars in the five boroughs, and their selections shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans. All we hope is that they take in the atmosphere and do their best to stay healthy during their time in the sun.
Hudson River Blue bids good luck to both Ring and Villa. And please, stay safe!
