Not 24 hours removed from the announcement that David Villa had returned to team training, New York City FC announced today that Ismael Tajouri-Shradi has also returned to the fold and participated in full training.
Not only is NYCFC’s darling winger back with the team in time for their next match against Orlando City, IST also dazzled teammates and staff with a glorious round of the Crossbar Challenge!

Tajouri-Shradi has been on fire since joining the Bronx Blues this past offseason. So far in 2018, ‘Shroddy Doddy’ has scored 8 goals in 11 appearances with the club, and has also contributed an assist and an overall passing percentage of just under 84%. Tajouri-Shradi’s impact on the pitch has endeared him to NYCFC fans and has helped alleviate some of the anxiety that came with the club selling wunderkind Jack Harrison to Manchester City prior to the 2018 season.
The Libyan forward’s return is sure to excite supporters and strike fear into any opposition. Welcome back, Shroddy!
