NYCFC reveal first three games of 2020 season

City to play two road games, one home game in first matches of the new season

With several questions regarding New York City FC still remaining as we approach the end of the calendar year and the beginning of the preseason, the club has revealed their first three matchups of the 2020 MLS regular season.

NYCFC will kick of the 2020 campaign on the road against Columbus Crew SC on March 1 at 12:30 PM (ET). From there, the Boys in Blue will travel to the Great White North to take on Toronto FC on March 7 at 5:00 PM in a rematch of the 2019 Eastern Conference Semifinal. This match is sure to be highly anticipated among fans following the heartbreaking way in which they lost that game.

Finally, City returns home to Yankee Stadium for the first time in 2020 on March 14, where they will face off FC Dallas at 12:30 PM.

NYCFC’s 2020 preseason begins in January where they will be participants in the Florida Cup. There, they will play Brazilian clubs Corinthians and Palmeiras on January 11 and January 15, respectively.

Also to come before the season are the first matchups in the 2020 CONCACAF Champions League, for which the draw will begin on Monday, December 9.
