Justin Haak has been having a stellar Dallas Cup with New York City FC’s U-19 side. After scoring the game winner in a 1-0 victory against Liverpool only days ago, Haak scored once more on Friday against Villareal in a game that ended in a narrow 3-2 loss, eliminating NYCFC in the semi-finals.

Haak’s great performance in the Dallas Cup is extremely impressive, especially when you take into account that this is a 17-year-old kid who is playing two age groups above where he should be. At this rate, it’s only a matter of time before the young midfielder dubbed as “Cavani” is given minutes at an MLS level much like fan favorite James Sands has this season.
Congrats on an awesome tournament, Justin! We hope to see more from you in the not-so-distant future.
