In New York City FC’s big 4-1 win against FC Cincinnati, Taty Castellanos’ brace was definitely one of the biggest contributions for the Boys in Blue. Paired with usual City talisman Héber — who also bagged two goals — Taty’s skillset was put on full display both on and off the ball on Saturday.
For his incredible offensive display, Castellanos was awarded a spot on this week’s MLS Team of the Week.
Héber’s absence from the TotW is definitely to be up for debate. Despite that, I think we’re all happy and agree with Taty’s inclusion.
Castellanos had a rough adjustment period when first arriving to NYCFC last summer, only scoring one goal in the eight games he played. This season, however, has been a coming out party for the young Argentinian as he has collected 9 goals and 5 assist in 21 games so far in 2019.
Congrats, Taty! Keep those goals coming!
