It’s been almost two months since we last saw Ismael Tajouri-Shradi play with New York City FC. The star winger was pulled from City’s 3-0 win against the Seattle Sounders on July 3 with an undisclosed ankle injury and has since missed 10 games for the Boys in Blue.
Today, however, Blue City Radio has reported that Tajouri-Shradi has returned to training with the team.
I am happy to report that Ismael Tajouri-Shradi is outside warming up with the team today at #NYCFC training.

Though NYCFC isn’t exactly thin at the winger position these days, Tajouri-Shradi’s reinsertion into proceedings will be nothing but beneficial for a team that needs as much firepower as they can muster as they attempt to climb the table and possibly even make a push towards silverware.
Where Gary Mackay-Steven or Jesus Medina end up as a result of ITS’s return is anyone’s guess, though I’d be hard pressed not to think that Medina has all but been eliminated from the equation entirely at this point.
