It’s always nice to see on of New York City FC’s own take the field on an international stage. And it’s just as cool when it’s one of their potential future stars.
Earlier today, it was announced that NYCFC youth players Tayvon Gray and Andres Jasson has received call-ups to the US’s U-17 side for the 4 Nations Tournament — which runs from September 5 to September 9 — against Mexico, Denmark, and the Netherlands (whom are hosting the tournament). The four-team competition serves as the final warmup for the Baby Yanks before the U-17 World Cup in Brazil, which starts in October.
| Congrats to #NYCFC Academy players Andres Jasson and Tayvon Gray on the U-17 #USMNT call-ups!

We’ve written about Tayvon Gray on the site before when the young midfielder from the Bronx impressed for the U-17 team last year at the 2018 Nike International Friendlies.
This is only my second time of hearing about forward Andres Jasson, who was called up to the U-17 team late last year.
Give ‘em hell, boys! Hopefully, you’ll be representing us on the world stage soon.
