It’s been a busy week for New York City FC. Nick Cushing and former NYCFC player Medhi Ballouchy were both named senior assistant coaches for the 2020 season. Gedion Zelalem was officially signed after some speculation. Ronny Deila has also finally joined the team, leading me to believe that his visa has been approved.

And now, we have a comprehensive list of all players that will suit up for NYCFC in the Florida Cup this week!

The Florida Cup roster will consist of 21 first-team players in addition to 10 Academy players and 5 trialists, the latter of which also include 2020 MLS SuperDraft picks Jesus Perez and Felicien Dumas. Notable absences include forward Taty Castellanos, DP winger Jesus Medina, and starting GK Sean Johnson who all are currently with their respective national teams and will report to preseason training after their international duties have been completed.
