FT: Luan’s first-half brace for Corinthians is the difference in 2-1 victory over NYCFC
There should be no complaints from City supporters after that one. A team of mostly teenagers and backups held their own and weren’t embarrassed by one of the most prestigious clubs in the Americas. Take these lessons and build upon them!
89' Cody Mizell has been brilliant in net! #NYCFC

75’: GOALLLLL!!!!! NYCFC grabs a scrappy tally!
Colman Kim sends a beautiful int the opposing box. The ball is then centered and finds the net amid chaos. That’s one way to get it!
72’: Vital attempts to give Corinthians their third, but it’s off target.
55’: NYCFC looks sloppier than they did in the first half. Lot of miscommunication and rough first touches. Growing pains for sure.
We’re back for the second half! Can NYCFC’s youngsters grab a tally of their own?
HT: Corinthians lead NYCFC 2-0 on a brace from Luan. There have been bright spots and low points, but nothing out of the ordinary at this point in the preseason. Let the kids go out there and make something happen!
33' #NYCFC subs on... everyone.

30’ Luan strikes again, this time from distance. Corinthians’ newest acquisition shakes Justin Haak, makes space, and launches one from distance and past Barraza. 2-0, the Almighty.
18' Great defense from the ref there on JPT. #NYCFC

11’: Goal for Corinthians on a nice free kick from Luan. Corinthians weren’t given the penalty they probably deserved. But no matter — it’s 1-0.
Ten minutes in, Corinthians are controlling the pace. But NYCFC’s young front three have looked solid moving forward. Despite having a largely young and inexperienced squad, City doesn’t look completely outclassed or out of their element.
Annnnd we’re off in Orlando! NYCFC in City Blue, Corinthians in white.
