The story: While they haven’t had the best of times through their first two domestic games of 2020, New York City FC has the hot hand in the CONCACAF Champions League. Having easily dispatched of AD San Carlos in the Round of 16 with an aggregate scoreline of 6-3, NYCFC will face their toughest challenge to date — and perhaps the toughest they will face — in a heavily favored Tigres UANL side.

Led by French talisman Andre-Pierre Gignac, Tigres can wreak havoc on a team’s backline. Ronny Deila’s City will have to be prepared for a potent attack and be able to pick their spots.
