We’re not even one game into the 2020 campaign, and we already have our first entry into the injury report.
Addressing the media before his team is to travel to Costa Rica to face AD San Carlos in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League Round of 16, New York City FC manager Ronny Deila has said that even though winger Ismael Tajouri-Shradi will travel with the team, he will not be available to play.
Glenn Crooks came in with the report.
Tajouri-Shradi was absent from the entire Florida Cup last month due to fitness issues. He has since begun training with the first team, but apparently remains in a state where he is unable to play in a competitive match.
Gary Mackay-Steven and Jesus Medina are both on the team’s CCL roster and, if the past is anything to go by, should be good to go on the right wing in ITS’s absence.
