I was gonna dedicate today to trashing New York City FC’s disgusting 3-1 loss against Orlando City last night. But I’ve decided to spare both our readers and myself of the stress and move on to something that’s at least positive in nature.
A few days ago, it was reported that Maxi Moralez could miss “several weeks” of action due to a quad injury. Fortunately, that might not be the case.
According to recent reports, Moralez could be back to match condition as early as Monday’s final MLS is Back group stage game against Inter Miami.
Good news for #NYCFC it seems that Maxi’s injury is not as severe as first thought so he might play vs. #InterMiamiCF.— Roberto Abramowitz (@RobAbramowitz) July 15, 2020
Ronny Deila is under pressure to unlock the offense as his team has ONE goal in the last 499 minutes.
With City currently having nothing going for them offensively, this is welcome news. The Boys in Blue finally got themselves on the score sheet on Tuesday after a golazo from Jesus Medina. Other than that, however, NYCFC has not scored in 499 minutes.
