Taty Castellanos is among one of New York City FC’s brightest stars. Equipped with good pace, technique, and a knack for drawing fouls, the sky is truly the limit for the young Argentinian.
Unfortunately, Castellanos is prone to some “theatrics” from time to time. It’s tendencies like these that have made him one of the most polarizing figures in all of MLS.
According to reports, Taty has been issued an undisclosed fine for simulation in Tuesday’s 3-1 loss against Orlando City. In turn, Robin Jannson has had his yellow card rescinded. The two engaged in a tussle in which Taty hit the ground following an alleged hand-to-face infraction with Jannson. Replays showed that Castellanos greatly exaggerated any contact whatsoever.

The incident in question can be found here.
Luckily, it doesn’t seem Castellanos will receive any kind of suspension for his transgression, which makes him available for Monday’s game against Inter Miami.
