Without a doubt, the highlight of New York City FC’s 2-1 win over FC Cincinnati on Saturday came in the second half when right back Anton Tinnerholm delivered cracker from outside the box on the full volley. In what would ultimately be the game winner, the Swede’s signature “TinnerBoom” goal is a reminder of how effective Tinnerholm is on both sides of the ball.
I mean, just look at this!

And the league has token notice as well!
For Tinnerholm’s amazing effort from distance, he has earned top weekly honors and landed on MLS’s Team of the Week for Week 11 of a shortened 2020 season.

Tinnerholm’s goal against Cincinnati is his second of 2020 — having scored previously against the Chicago Fire on August 29 in a 3-1 NYCFC win — and doubles his total of 1 in 2019. Overall, the 29-year-old Swede has netted 7 goals in 72 appearances since his arrival to New York City in 2018.
