In case you haven’t noticed, Anton Tinnerholm is very good at football. So good, in fact, that he has earned a Team of the Season card on FIFA 21!

The only New York City FC player represented in MLS’s Team of the Season, Tinnerholm solidified his spot with a brilliant 2020 campaign. One could argue that this kind of accolade should’ve been earned each season he’s played, but better late than never.

As expected, TinnerBoom’s TOTS card is great. The Swede possesses 94 pace, 89 passing, 88 dribbling, 83 defending, and 85 physicality, making him one of, if not the best defensive options MLS has to offer this FIFA title.

Unfortunately, however, EA Sports got Tinnerholm’s shooting ability completely wrong. His card has an abysmal 55 shooting rating with his best individual attribute in that category being his 69-rated volleys (nice), making his signature banging goals almost impossible to replicate on FIFA. Tinnerholm’s three-star weak foot is also puzzling as he has scored amazing goals with both his right and left foot.

Apart from that, Tinnerholm’s card is great if making an MLS team — or at least an MLS defense — is the path you’re wanting to take. MLS currently boasts some impressive cards along the defense including an 82-rated Ike Opara with 88 pace, a decent Aaron Long that has great size, and inverted left back Nick Lima. Apart from Opara, who must be bought on the transfer market, Long and Lima can both be earn through Milestone objectives. If having a full MLS team isn’t you’re bag, try to do the Blaise Matuidi TOTS Squad Building Challenge. The defensive midfielder is really good and can serve as a bridge to all the French heavy hitters like Ousmane Dembele, Houssem Aouar, and Kylian Mbappe.
