New York City FC just announced season ticket pricing for NYCFC II, and it’s one of the great bargains in American sports.
A season ticket in the supporters section behind the goal for the 12-game home schedule is $79 for current NYCFC season ticket holders, or a little more $6.50 per game. The cost is $95 for the general public. A season ticket on the sidelines is $99 for current NYCFC season ticket holders, or $129 for the general public. All NYCFC II home games will be played at Belson Stadium on the campus of St. John’s University in Queens—there isn’t a bad seat in the house.
Season tickets are now available at Ticketmaster.
Individual tickets are $10 in the supporter’s section, and $15 on the sidelines. Individual tickets are also available at Ticketmaster. Students, faculty, and staff of St. John’s University with valid identification are eligible for $5 tickets at the stadium box office on game day.
NYCFC II will open the 2022 season on Sunday, March 27, at 5 pm ET, when they host New England II at Belson Stadium. You can see the full schedule for the 24-game season here.
NYCFC II is one of the founding teams of MLS Next Pro, a professional soccer league that provides a pathway between MLS NEXT, the U19 development league, and MLS. Last month, NYCFC named Matt Pilkington head coach of NYCFC II. As head coach of the NYCFC Academy U-19 team, he won back-to-back national titles in 2018 and 2019.
The roster for NYCFC II has yet to be released, but the team will likely feature 14-year-old midfielder Maximo Carrizo, the youngest signing in the history of MLS.
