Will Taty Castellanos leave New York City during the summer transfer window? It seems likely: Word on street is that the 23-year-old striker will be playing for a top-tier European league in the fall. Which club will buy him and at what price remain a mystery despite new rumors surfacing regularly.

Hudson River Blue will collect those reports and whispers here, and present them without comment: It’s up to the reader to decide which pass the smell test.

After months of speculation and weeks of chatter it looks like Taty Castellanos will leave New York City FC and MLS to play in the first division of a major European league.
In recent days, rumors surfaced linking Castellanos and La Liga side Girona FC. Both clubs are a part of City Football Group, the parent company of Manchester City and eleven other teams around the world. Neither NYCFC nor Girona have issued a comment on the deal.
