• Stella Nyamekye transfers to SK Brann

Gotham FC transferred midfielder Stella Nyamekye to SK Brann in Norway for an undisclosed fee, the club announced today.
The the 20-year-old prospect joined the Bats at the start of 2025, making two NWSL appearances with the team before heading to Fort Lauderdale United in the USL Gainbridge Super League on loan. The Ghana international returned to Gotham for the 2026 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in January, rejoined Fort Lauderdale on February 6, then was recalled by Gotham on February 19.
• Gabi Portilho departs Gotham FC for San Diego Wave

Brazil international Gabi Portilho is on her way to San Diego FC after spending one title-winning season with Gotham FC. The 30-year-old forward scored three goals and added three assists in 17 league appearances. Gotham will receive $175,000 in intraleague transfer funds from San Diego.

• The Bats activate Tierna Davidson off injury list

Club captain Tierna Davidson is cleared to return to the squad after the 27-year-old defender spent most of the 2025 season recovering from a torn ACL. The return of Davidson, an Olympic gold medalist, FIFA Women's World Cup champion, and mainstay of the US women's national team, will bring even more stability to the Gotham defense as they look to defend their title in 2026.
• Stella Nyamekye is back with Gotham

Just 13 days after Midfielder Stella Nyamekye returned to Fort Lauderdale United FC on loan after spending January with Gotham as they competed in the 2026 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in January, the 20-year-old Ghana international is back with the Bats after the two clubs mutually agreed to terminate the loan.
• Josefine Hasbo traded to Boston Legacy FC

Gotham traded midfielder Josefine Hasbo to Boston Legacy FC for $50,000 in allocation money. The 24-year-old Danish international joined Gotham last June from Harvard University on a deal that lasted through the end of the 2027 season.
Hasbo made 15 appearances for Gotham across all competitions last year, scoring one goal in the 4-0 win over Vancouver Rise FC Academy in the 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup. She was an unused sub in both of Gotham's matches in the 2026 FIFA Women's Champions Cup tournament that concluded earlier this month, and in Gotham's title-winning 1-0 win over Washington Spirit in the 2025 NWSL Championship match.
• Stella Nyamekye returns to Fort Lauderdale United

Midfielder Stella Nyamekye will return to Fort Lauderdale United FC on loan after Gotham recalled the 20-year-old for pre-tournament training ahead of the 2026 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in January. The Ghana international will remain with Fort Lauderdale through the end of the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season.
Nyamekye joined Gotham at the start of 2025, and made two NWSL appearances before heading to Fort Lauderdale on loan. She had one goal and two assists in 14 appearances with Fort Lauderdale during the opening half of the season.
• Gotham loan Princess Ademiluyi to Ipswich Town

Forward Princess Ademiluyi is going on loan to Women’s Super League 2 side Ipswich Town FC through the 2026 calendar year. The 19-year-old signed with the Bats from West Ham United in September 2025, and spent most of last year on loan with Fort Lauderdale Untied FC of the Gainbridge Super League. She is signed with Gotham through 2029.
• Gotham sign US youth international forward Jordynn Dudley

The Bats add another young prospect with the signing of 21-year-old Jordynn Dudley. The Florida State forward recently earned her first call-up to the United States women's national team futures camp. That comes on the tail of five caps with the U-20 squad at FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2024, where she scored twice — including a 98th-minute goal in a quarterfinal win over Germany.
Dudley had an eye-popping 30 goals and 29 assists in 53 games with Florida State, winning the NCAA national championship in 2023 and 2025. She is a three-time All-ACC First Team selection, a two-time All-ACC Tournament Team honoree (2023, 2024), and a three-time United Soccer Coaches All-American.
• US youth international goalkeeper Teagan Wy joins Gotham

Gotham FC added to the goalkeeper ranks by signing 21-year-old Teagan Wy to a contract through the 2028 season, the club confirmed today.
Wy just completed a collegiate career at the University of California, Berkeley, making 53 appearances for the Golden Bears. The native of Rancho Santa Margarita, California, was a fixture for the United States U-20 team at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, starting every match and helping the USWNT earn a bronze medal.
The signing gives Gotham a fourth goalkeeper in the mix during their preseason camp in Spain, with Wy joining clear-cut starter Ann-Katrin Berger, plus Ryan Campbell and Shelby Hogan. This is also another college player out of California added to the Gotham roster after Stanford University's Andrea Kitahata signed earlier this month.

Gotham FC announced the preseason roster for the club's training camp in Spain ahead of the 2026 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, which will be held in London at the end of January.
Notably, Gotham exercised the options to recall forward Princess Ademiluyi and midfielder Stella Nyamekye from their loans at Fort Lauderdale United FC.

Stanford University captain Andrea Kitahata is now a Bat: The 23-year-old forward and All-ACC first team honoree joins Gotham after scoring 17 goals and adding 10 assists in 25 games for the Cardinal in 2025.

• Gotham acquire midfielder Savannah McCaskil from San Diego FC

Gotham acquired 29-year-old midfielder Savannah McCaskil from San Diego FC for $175,000 in intraleague transfer funds. The name might be familiar: McCaskil started her professional career in 2018 at Sky Blue FC, as Gotham was then known.
The United States international will bring a veteran presence to Gotham's midfield.
• Midge Purce signs new deal with Gotham FC

The 30-year-old forward agreed to a one-year deal with the Bats, which will see her return for her seventh season with the club.

• Gotham sign forward Talia Sommer

The Bats have a new forward: The club announced signing Israeli international Talia Sommer to a contract through the 2026 season. The 21-year-old joins from Butler University, where she was All-BIG EAST Co-Midfielder of the Year.
A New York City native, Sommer has 26 caps with the Israeli women’s national team, scoring six goals. She was on the squad that participated the UEFA Women’s Nations League, where she scored twice and added one assist in four matches against Bulgaria and Estonia.
• Gotham FC announce 2026 roster moves

Gotham FC announced the club's end-of-season roster moves. Just two players aren't combing back to the championship-winning team: Forward Geyse will return to Manchester United now that her season-long loan to Gotham is complete, and forward Ella Stevens is a free agent after joining in 2024.
In addition, forward Midge Purce is a free agent, but is in ongoing discussions with the club. Purce signed a one-year deal at the start of the 2025 season after returning from a season-ending anterior cruciate ligament injury that sidelined her in 2024.
