The third-longest winless streak in NYCFC history

But the news ain't all bad. In fact, this is one of the best winless streaks endured by the club: The NYCFC glass isn't 75% empty, it's 25% full.

When New York City FC's draw on Saturday night went into the books, it extended the team's winless streak in league play to seven games. That makes this the third-longest winless streak in club history, trailing only the 11-game streaks posted in 2015 and 2023, and even with another seven-game streak from 2016.

New York City have taken just five points out of a possible 21 in this current run of games, dropping 10 points from winning positions. Results like these aren't promising. But they aren't catastrophic, at least not yet, and depending on how you squint at the numbers, you could even say that this is one of the best winless streaks endured by the club.

The NYCFC glass isn't 75% empty, it's 25% full.
