1.  6th place? They’ll take it

Hudson River Blue: Atlanta United currently sit in sixth place in the Eastern Conference with 28 points after 18 games. We’re only at the midpoint of Gonzalo Pineda’s second full season as head coach, but is this where the team should be? What’s the mood in the stands at the Benz?

Joe Patrick: If you were to have presented Atlanta’s current position to fans at the beginning of the season, most would definitely take it given where this team has been for the majority of the past three years. However, the team went through a rough spell recently when they’ve been without Giorgos Giakoumakis due to a hamstring injury. But since he’s been back, the team has been better and results have come with it.
