The NWSL today released the 2026 schedule, so all 30 Gotham FC regular-season matches are now locked in.

The defending NWSL Champions open the season Saturday, March 14 on the turf at Gillette Stadium against expansion side Boston Legacy FC. That match kicks off at 12:30 pm ET and will be broadcast nationally on ABC, as it will be Boston's inaugural match.
Gotham returns home to host their NWSL home opener at Sports Illustrated Stadium the following Saturday, March 21, when they host North Carolina Courage at 6:30 pm ET.
Seven of the 15 scheduled Gotham home matches take place before June 1, as the team has a three-match homestand in March and also plays three of four May matches at home.
Gotham will welcome their rivals and the team they just beat to win their most recent NWSL title, Washington Spirit, on July 15, though at a venue TBD.
The next Bats home match on July 18 vs Seattle Reign FC will be held at Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island at high noon 12:00 pm ET, the team’s one confirmed match to be played at the recently-renovated stadium and sometime home to New York City FC II of MLS Next Pro. Gotham played on Randall’s Island during the 2025 Concacaf W Cup, defeating CF Monterrey Femenil 2-1 on August 20.
The final home match of the season is also the final match of the 2026 season period, November 1 at 5 pm ET against Utah Royals, on what will be NWSL's Decision Day.

While those are the main points for Gotham's regular season, there are other competitions and disruptions to account for on the 2026 calendar. In the middle of May, Gotham will break from NWSL action to again compete for the Concacaf W Champions Cup trophy, which they won last year, though with details still TBD.
There are also some summer gaps in the NWSL schedule, with a CBA-mandated break from June 8-14, along with an additional pause from June 15-28 while the 2026 FIFA World Cup takes place. Gotham goes from May 31 to July 4 without playing a league match, but they will travel to scenic Columbus, Ohio, to play the NWSL Challenge Cup on Friday, June 26 at 8 pm ET, a one-off supercup match between 2025 NWSL Champions Gotham and 2025 NWSL Shield winners, Kansas City Current.
While the NWSL season won't start until March 14, Gotham has competitive soccer coming this January, as they're already in the middle of their preseason preparing for the FIFA Women's Champions Cup, which begins on January 28 in London and will crown soccer's first intercontinental women's club champion.
Gotham will face SC Corinthians Paulista on January 28 as part of a doubleheader at the Brentford Community Stadium, with Arsenal Women FC also playing AS FAR from Morocco. Gotham win against Corinthians and they might get a tasty match-up in London at the Emirates against Arsenal with a major FIFA trophy on the line, which would not be a bad way to start the 2026 season.
