The turquoise sash of the most recent jersey has been replaced by gradient stripes that are sharp and fresh — as much as we like the old shirt, maybe it’s not a bad idea to leave the 2022 face-plant of a season in the rear-view mirror.

This is shaping up to be a big year for Gotham. New head coach Juan Carlos Amorós is completely retooling the team that earned the wooden spoon last year, and early reports from preseason training are positive. Gotham’s season begins exactly 20 days from now, when they face Angel City FC in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 26, at 9 pm ET. The home opener will take place the following weekend, when Gotham hosts OL Reign at Red Bull Arena on Saturday, April 1, at 7:30 pm ET.
