New York City FC's 2025 season has come to an end after losing 5-1 in the Eastern Conference Final to Inter Miami CF. Now it's time for you to rate the players.

New York City weren't supposed to be here. The team finished in 5th Place in the Eastern Conference table, and lost two essential starters in Alonso Martínez and Andrés Perea to injuries in recent weeks, but they found a way to upset Charlotte FC in Round One, then Philadelphia Union in the Eastern Conference Semifinal. But tonight they came up against the buzzsaw that is Inter Miami, a team that now have 17 goals in five playoff games.

New York City FC put up a fight, but Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami settled into the game and end the night with a 5-1 win and a date to host the 2025 MLS Cup Final.

Inter Miami took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute, then added another goal nine minutes later. But then New York City came back to score off a set piece in the 37th minute when Maxi Moralez delivered a perfect ball that was headed in by Justin Haak. It gave the visitors hope heading into the first half. But Miami went on to dominate the run of play, scoring three more goals to seal an emphatic win.
