Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ, will host a doubleheader of SheBelieves Cup matches on Saturday, March 7, with the women's national teams of Argentina, Canada, and Colombia joining the United States to compete in the 11th installment of the tournament.
Venue: Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ
Date: Saturday, March 7
Match 1
Canada vs Argentina
12:30 pm ET
Match 2
United States vs Colombia
3:30 pm ET
This will be the first time the USWNT plays at the venue formerly known as Red Bull Arena since July 13, 2024, when they beat Mexico 1-0 in a friendly, and it will be the 10th USWNT match ever played at the Harrison venue.
The United States are 6W-2D-1L in their previous matches at Red Bull Arena, with six clean sheets and a +11 goal differential.
The SheBelieves Cup match against Colombia will also be the fourth time the USWNT play at this venue in this tournament, though their SheBelieves Cup record in Harrison is mixed: 1W-1D-1L, after beating Spain in 2020, playing to a draw against France in 2018, and losing to England in 2017.
The United States won SheBelieves Cup a record seven times, though they did not triumph in last year's tournament, falling short to Japan. That second-place finish snapped a streak of five straight SheBelieves Cup titles for the United States.
Tobin Heath to be honored
New Jersey native and USWNT legend Tobin Heath will get a pre-match ceremony on the field before the Colombia game. This comes after Heath announced her retirement in July 2025, and before she gets inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame on May 1, 2026.
Heath, originally from Morristown, NJ, won two World Cups and two Olympic gold medals while making 181 appearances for the USWNT from 2008 through 2021. She also played for multiple New Jersey clubs in her career, including the New Jersey Wildcats and Sky Blue FC, the predecessor to Gotham FC.
Gotham internationals?
In the most recent camp, Gotham provided five players to the USWNT, more than any other club — six clubs tied for second-most with two players. Some on the Gotham squad, like Rose Lavelle and Emily Sonnett, are seasoned veterans with more than 100 caps each. Others, like Jaelin Howell, 2025 NWSL Rookie of the Year Lilly Reale, and new signing Jayden Shaw, are establishing themselves on the team.
Will they be joined by Midge Purce? The 30-year-old midfielder was instrumental in Gotham's title-winning season last year, and just signed a new contract with the club, but she last appeared with the USWNT in 2024. Will we see the return of Gotham capitan Tierna Davidson? The central defender is a mainstay in the USWNT, but she was sidelined for almost all of 2025 after suffering an ACL tear while playing with Gotham last April.
Other Gotham players on the margins of the USWNT include new signing Savannah McCaskill and United States youth international Sofia Cook. We'll have a better sense of how the team is shaping up in the USWNT's January camp in California, when they play friendlies against Paraguay and Chile.
